#11: Flyer from scratch of "Noche de Ciencias" or PJ DAY 2013
In this assignment i used Photoshop to create a flyer for the upcoming senior event, Pajama Day. I opened a new document and used a gradient to color the background i then inserted text on both the top and bottom of the page saying the title of the event and the information. I then added two different images from online by copying and pasting them onto my flyer.
#12: Adding Texture via Layers
In this assignment i opened up a picture of a dress that i took from Google images on Photoshop. I then looked up a texture and opened that on a separate document and then copied and pasted it onto the dress image. I then changed the opacity so that it was somewhat transparent and cut it out so that it was in the form of the dress.
#13: Change one thing Poster from NYC Food Bank
In this assignment i opened a picture of fries on a document and cut out the fries and then inserted a picture of the carrot sticks so that it looked as if the carrots were fries. I then added a gradient to the background and text to the top and bottom of the image. I then highlighted the fires and added the disclaimer on the bottom and the food bank logo.
#14: Jack O' Lantern
In this assignment i opened a picture of a pumpkin on Photoshop and then i added effects to make it look perfect in changing the colors. I then outlined the eyes and nose and mouth of the pumpkin and changed the color so that it looks as if it were lit up I then added text to the bottom.
#15a & b: Creating a "Painted" effect on wall then face.
In this assignment i opened a picture of a brick wall and added a flag over it then i changed the settings on the picture of the flag making it look almost transparent creating a painted effect. I did the same for 15 b but instead of a brick wall with my face.
#16: Smart Filtering with Motion Blur
In doing this project i opened the picture of the car as a smart object. I then added motion blur to the image and adjusted it to my liking. Later i clicked on the masking image and passed the brush over the parts i did not want blurred out creating a more realistic motion picture.
#17: Quick Masking to add a desire effect
In this assignment i used the masking effect to add gradient to Chris Browns teeth making him look toothless. I opened the picture on Photoshop and then clicked on the masking and selected the teeth region and then added the gradient.
#18: Soft Filtering Skin tones.
In this assignment i used filter to make the face look brighter and more vibrant. The image to the right is the before picture the one on the left is the after picture. I took the important features and made them stand out more like his eyes mole and mouth.
